Everyone walking the Vegas casino floors is hoping to spot someone famous. And I'm no different. After numerous vacations to Sin City we moved here and after literally hundreds of celebrity sightings, I still get excited spotting someone in a crowd.
To satisfy my craving for celebrity spotting, I started thinking about all the famous people who live in Las Vegas. I searched for one of those cheesy "maps to the stars" and couldn't find a thing. And so began my quest. . .
"The Glitter Guide: Famous Homes of Sin City"
. My book consists of well over 100 celebrity address in Las Vegas with information on the home like square footage, age, etc. Also included are major cross streets and a short bio on each celebrity. At the bottom of each page is an interesting quote or fact about Las Vegas. There are also sections in the book on Las Vegas celebrity gravesites, celebrity weddings and celebrity deaths.
Wonder where that store is that Dana Plato held up just before her infamous arrest? I've got the address!
Interested in driving by David Cassidy's Vegas home? It's all in the guide!!!
There is nothing in comparison to the book available at this time. The Glitter Guide appeals to both locals who want to know if anyone famous lives near them, and also visitors to the valley who might want to drive by their favorite stars home.
I have no previous writing experience. I started this book as just a list for myself. One thing led to another and before I knew it I had about 50 address. At that point I realized that other people would be interested in this too. Every time I mentioned the book to friends or relatives they were intrigued, so I figured I would make it into a book.
